Installation & Workflow
- 1. Install Cline: In VS Code → Extensions → Search “Cline” → Install.
- 2. Connect an AI Model: Link GPT or Claude using your API key.
- 3. Start Workflow: Chat with Cline, describe your coding task, review changes, and approve them.
- 4. Automation: Generate tests, refactor code, and add docs with one command.
Modes & API Integration
- Plan Mode: Cline explains its actions before making any code change.
- Act Mode: Automatically performs tasks like editing or creating files.
- API Setup: Works securely with APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter.
